How do I assign a domain (Web address) to my Hosting package?

If you registered a new domain through Network Solutions when you purchased your Web hosting package, we've automatically assigned your domain for you. You can bypass this step and start building your Web site. If you have an existing domain that you wish to use with your Web site, please follow these instructions:

1. Go to www.networksolutions.com
2. Click the Account Manager tab at the top right corner of your screen.
3. Enter the User ID and password you created during your Web hosting purchase. If you've forgotten your log-in information, please visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.
4. Click on Web Hosting on the left menu and then Manage Hosting.
5. If you have more than one Web Hosting package, click on a package name to view details.
6. On the details page, click on Assign Domain.
7. Click on the Domain Name drop-down menu and select the domain to link to your hosting package.

Please note: To send visitors direct to your primary Web site, use the Points To drop down menu and select  " / " .

Experienced users: If you want to route your domain to a subdirectory other than your root directory, enter the path name in the Points To box.

It takes approximately 24 hours to publish and present your domain to other servers around the world.
